Rick Haviland has served as president of MarketSource since 2009 and has been instrumental in developing the company’s relationship-driven culture grounded in high-performance teams, advanced technology and thought leadership.
Haviland has spent over 20 years within Allegis Group’s family of brands, holding strategic leadership positions at Aerotek, Teksystems and Allegis Global Solutions (AGS). During his time at AGS, he served as president, where he was responsible for building a strong corporate culture and played a crucial role in the creation of the global workforce management company it is today.
At MarketSource, Haviland is a firm believer in building mutually beneficial, long-term relationships with team members and clients. His strategic vision and innovative thinking continue to position MarketSource as an industry leader in sales outsourcing.
Haviland has a Bachelor of Arts in Labor Relations from Michigan State University.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Mark Mueller serves as chief financial officer, providing strategic leadership through the planning, analysis and management of MarketSource’s financial performance, investments and capital allocation.
Mueller is responsible for the business functions of accounting, business planning, investments, budgeting, legal, compliance, risk management, technology and administration. The strategic mindset and creative thinking he has brought to MarketSource over the last eight years have led to increased operational efficiency and financial growth for the company.
Prior to joining MarketSource, Mueller spent over 10 years in various financial roles within Allegis Group’s family of brands.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Towson University in Towson, Maryland.
VICE PRESIDENT OF COMMERCIAL
Damon Joshua serves as vice president of commercial at MarketSource. He is responsible for the development and execution of the company’s commercial business strategy, which includes business development, client services, recruiting and innovation.
In his eight years with the company, Joshua has focused on helping solve clients’ most complex business challenges and driving revenue for some of the world’s most iconic brands. He brings more than 25 years of experience across a diverse range of industries, previously holding leadership positions at companies such as UPS, Verizon, Cisco and Vertafore. Joshua specializes in sales development; direct, indirect, outside and inside sales; sales operations; strategy; and leadership development.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Development and Leadership from Mercer University.
VICE PRESIDENT OF RETAIL
Jeff Perkins serves as vice president of retail and is responsible for the development and execution of MarketSource’s retail sales and operations.
Perkins joined MarketSource after 24 years at Verizon, working within different business units across the country. He began his career in finance and accounting earning his CPA, giving him a strong understanding of financials, profitability models and analytics. For the past 20 years, he has held a variety of leadership roles within marketing, sales and operations, which have been focused on driving results in a retail environment. Most recently, Perkins served as vice president of marketing at Verizon Connect, a subsidiary of Verizon, where he oversaw campaigns to drive company growth, increase customer loyalty and improve customer experience.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Biola University in La Mirada, California.
VICE PRESIDENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES
Shelton Guinn serves as vice president of human resources, responsible for delivering an organizational strategy that attracts talent; engages and retains employees; and develops future leaders of the organization. He oversees human resources, employee training, talent development, corporate social responsibility, communications, and diversity and inclusion.
Guinn began his career at Aerotek – an Allegis Group company – over 20 years ago, where he played an integral role in establishing and building the diversity and inclusion program. His years in various leadership roles within Allegis Group demonstrates his proven ability to drive strategies that support MarketSource’s thousands of employees, contractors and clients today.
He is active in the community and is a member of the National Association of African-Americans in Human Resources; serves on the planning committee for the Black Engineer of the Year Awards (BEYA); is on the board of directors for Junior Achievement; is a member of PEER150 and serves on executive advisory boards for the National HBCU Business Deans Roundtable and Bowie State University.
VICE PRESIDENT OF STRATEGIC ENTERPRISE SERVICES
Chris Walter serves as vice president of strategic enterprise services. His areas of responsibility include driving the strategy for the organization and overseeing the project management, corporate analytics and marketing business functions. Having served in various leadership capacities at MarketSource since 2001, he is adept at helping companies improve sales performance through strategic sales outsourcing.
With more than 25 years of experience in the technology, services and manufacturing sectors, Walter drives top-line growth and bottom-line performance. Previously, he worked at companies such as General Electric, DigiDyne, and Verint. He was also co-founder of Creative Composites, a market-leading manufacturer of composites and plastics.
Walter has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from DeVry Institute of Technology.
