Jennifer Mays, Program Manager, is the recipient of this year’s MarketSource Leadership Award.
It’s not surprising, as Jennifer is one of those people who seems to “do it all”. Wherever she sees a need, and in whatever capacity she can offer her training and skills, she’s there. She’s always ready and willing to contribute so that her team is more productive, and clients are increasingly pleased with MarketSource services. As a result, she has earned the admiration of her fellow team members and all of her clients.
When Jennifer was promoted to Program Manager she accepted an expanded set of new and diverse responsibilities with great gusto, supervising a complex major automotive account.
She spearheaded an initiative to increase maintenance sales by more than 40% and coordinated meeting logistics for the client’s annual national meeting. Jennifer also completely revamped and upgraded the client’s virtual training academy for remote dealership Finance & Insurance managers, greatly enhancing the quality of training and exponentially increasing the number of managers trained.
Jennifer has been a dedicated participant in MarketSource Resource Groups (MRGs) and a proactive mentor to countless members of her project team.
She was a founder of the Women in Auto Network, which has grown from a handful of participants to include many MarketSource clients and auto partners and continues to flourish because of her innate ability to build relationships and earn the respect of those around her.
She is also an excellent cross-functional contributor, working tirelessly with different programs as both a consultant and subject matter expert for projects and initiatives that aren’t necessarily in her purview.
