MarketSource Military Spouses Share Stories Via Roundtable

by Jennifer Morrell

On November 4, MarketSource, the proven alternative to outsourcing sales, partnered with Hiring Our Heroes to host a story-sharing roundtable for military spouses. The session included a question-and-answer session with several military spouses who shared their stories about employment through MarketSource.

“As an organization, we are firmly committed to increasing employment opportunities for military spouses across the country,” Erin Mitchell Richeson, diversity and inclusion manager for MarketSource. “Given the number of MarketSource career opportunities available nationwide, we are positioned to assist military spouses in maintaining their employment status as they relocate.”

MarketSource is a proponent and supporter of offering employment opportunities to military spouses across the country. The roundtable addressed topics such as why a military spouse would join MarketSource and why he or she would choose to stay on as an employee. MarketSource also answered questions and suggested avenues through which military spouses could market themselves and their skill sets.

Hiring Our Heroes is a program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. It was launched in March 2011 as a nationwide initiative to help veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses find meaningful employment opportunities. Working with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s vast network of state and local chambers and strategic partners from the public, private, and non-profit sectors, our goal is to create a movement across America in hundreds of communities where veterans and military families return every day.
