Sometimes life doesn’t proceed the way you had planned but nevertheless puts you squarely where you need to be.
“If you had told me two years ago that I would be in the recruiting field, I wouldn’t have believed it,” says Alyssa Frantz. “I have an exercise science degree and planned to pursue a doctorate in physical therapy. But that plan fell through. I chose to pivot to recruiting because I still wanted to help people. Then, when I interviewed at MarketSource, I instantly knew this was where I wanted to begin my new adventure, and I haven’t looked back since!”

Alyssa is driven by having a positive impact on others. It’s a driving force in her life, which makes recruiting the perfect career for her. “Every day, I get the opportunity to help turn someone’s life around for the better,” she explains. “Presenting a candidate with the job offer they’ve been waiting for never gets old.”
In her first year here, Alyssa was promoted twice. She is recognized for her exceptional work ethic and unwavering positive attitude.
“I don’t think work ethic is something that can be taught,” she explains. “I’ve always been my toughest critic, so I make sure to put my best foot forward in everything I do. And even though I fail, I try to keep it in perspective and move forward so I can accomplish the goals I’ve set for myself. My parents also worked very hard to provide for us, so witnessing that helped shape me into who I am today.”
She also credits her MarketSource support system, including fellow coworkers and leadership. She continues, “I truly believe you are a product of your environment. When you surround yourself with great people, it makes you want to be a better person in all aspects of your life.” And with Alyssa’s continuing contributions, life at MarketSource continues to get better all the time.
