MarketSource Inc., the proven alternative to outsourcing sales, joined forces with North Fulton Community Charities (NFCC) to help stock their food pantry for the holidays. MarketSource team members competed to see who can donate the most non-perishable food items before Nov. 21, 2016. The goal was to reach at least 500 cans, but they more than doubled it with 1,066 cans.
“We just ended our ‘Summer of Service’ and I really wanted us to do something special for the holidays,” says Zach Greco, Program Director at MarketSource. “I’m proud to say that we had over 120 employees competing to see who could donate the most food. It was a fun competition that will help feed those in need this holiday season and we’re proud to help NFCC serve our community.”
In addition to NFCC, MarketSource is partnering with Holcomb Bridge Middle School to hold a toy drive and provide holiday meals for families in need. MarketSource will host an employee gift wrapping party and then deliver the toys on Dec. 16.
“MarketSource is proud to be part of the North Fulton County community,” said Rick Haviland, President of MarketSource. “We are also proud of our team and the efforts they make to give back, especially during the holidays. Serving others is deeply rooted in our corporate culture and this initiative led by Zach is a testament to our team taking action where they see a need.”
