MarketSource Shows Its Thank You Veterans Colors

MarketSource will host a full week of events to say thank you to veterans. The outsourced-labor leader will honor its own veteran employees, and the nation’s, for Veterans Day.

MarketSource is celebrating in-house and in the community with a number of events recognizing Veterans Day. Volunteer employees are partnering with non-profit HeroBox.org to donate thoughtful care packages to military units currently deployed. The packages will be assembled at MarketSource corporate headquarters in Alpharetta.

MarketSource employee teams in Raleigh, NC and Vancouver, WA will also be assembling care packages to add to the national corporation’s Veterans Day events.

The company’s employees will also have the opportunity to write Thank You Veterans letters and notes to the troops. Thursday, Nov 12, these supportive letters will be assembled into packages along with employee-donated items that deployed troops have requested. Approved donations will include games like crossword puzzles and chess, magazines, toiletries, snack cakes, DVD movies, and other items.

Saturday morning, Nov 14, Team MarketSource walkers, runners and volunteers will assemble in Piedmont Park by 8:00 a.m. to participate in the Disabled American Veterans awareness 5K. A number of employees who are veterans recently flexed their muscles to support the popular #GiveThem20 awareness event.

Monday, Nov 16, members of MarketSource will attend the 63rd Annual ARMAC Military Appreciation Luncheon sponsored by the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce that honors men and women in uniform. MarketSource is a table sponsor at that event. Employee veterans will be joined at the table with an active duty service member. Congressman Mac Thornberry, Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, will provide the keynote address.

A national outsourced sales teams provider, MarketSource partnered with Hirepurpose, Inc. in 2015 to support its national efforts in hiring veterans and military spouses. The sales solutions powerhouse strives to leverage the expertise of military and post-military service families by actively adding veterans, reservists and military spouses to its recruit lists.

There are currently over thirteen hundred jobs available for veterans and military spouses on the company’s job bank page. MarketSource has also partnered with Soldiers Angels to support veteran memorials projects.

HeroBox is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports deployed American service members by providing physical items and moral support for our heroes.
